Long-distance move from Miami, FL to Las Vegas, NV

Bad broker- no responsibility- no customer service

First you must understand that this is not a shipping company- this is a website lead magnet for brokerage sales- outsourcing your trip to the lowest bidder, and after your car is picked up, they take zero responsibility for anything that happens next. I don’t think they even have a billing, customer service or anything else department- probably just a single owner and some salesman masquerading as a shipping company.

Shipped my car from Miami to Las Vegas. They used the absolute worst low-end trucking company. To be picked up on a Monday to be delivered on Friday. They did not pick up on Monday due to truck trouble. No word from movevocity about this, had to keep calling the dispatcher. Dispatcher sends a tow truck to pick it up bc truck still down. Says the truck is working and it will be there on Friday. Never an update from movevocity.

Im flying out on Thursday to be there when my car arrives on Friday. By then, I notice it did not move until Wednesday when it finally made it to Tampa. No answer from dispatcher so I ask movevocity if it will really be there by Friday. They say that the truck broke down in Tampa and they told the dispatcher to tell me lol. They didn’t want to tell me?

By Friday the car is still stuck in tampa, the driver is draining my battery by using my car as an AC unit (it’s electric ) and I ask them not to do that so I can drive it home when it gets there. At some point the driver abandons the load, in a fight with the dispatch company. No updates from movevocity, the dispatcher wants to quit too and is telling me everything now.

So the truck is then picked up and brought back to Miami while they look for another driver.

Guys, we haven’t even gotten to the crazy stuff yet!!!

Truck takes off on Tuesday with another driver. I take a picture with the car system and notice that the back window is crushed/broken. The next day it is a hole- the shatterproof glass is now a hole, somehow. I’m quiet, not sure what I’m looking at bc usually the side mirrors open and I don’t get that angle.I’m not actually sure my car is the broken one. Before it arrives on Friday the dispatcher, a different one now, tells me that another truck’s tire cap flew off, just that morning and flew alllll the way up to the second level of the truck where my car was and shattered the shatter proof glass. They even show me a ridiculous picture of the tire cap - a big piece of rubber - hanging from my back window and I call this out as staged. They say it’s just a broken window and they will maybe just pay for a replacement. Let’s take a look. When it is unloaded there is massive damage. The wind must have caught the broken window and pulled it down from the top, slamming it against the back of the car, chipping and scratching it all the way down passed the bumper, damaging fin, lights, emblems, quarter panels- over $10k of damage and I insist it needs to be fixed by BMW (it’s a pretty new M series). They want to think about it. I now have it at BMW and Saturday this company starts to ghost me. Friday and Monday, movevocity is no help, the sales guy says I need to email their “info@“ email - if that tells you how bare bones this is - begging for help, advice, help dealing with the trucking company- anything!!!

- and it takes them literally days to finally just send me the truck companies COI and say that I have to deal with them. UNBELIEVABLE!!

By that time I already got the COI from the now former dispatcher who really did quit lol. And yes they never to this day confirmed the damage with their own insurance so my car could get fixed. They first didn’t want to even accept my payment for the delivery so they could likely say I didn’t pay and void the contract. I tricked their driver into giving me their zelle and paid. Then I used my own insurance to get the process started and they are going after the company’s insurance to recoup costs and my deductible.

At no point was movevocity helpful and it was painfully clear they are not a real trucking company, with absolutely no customer support, no desire to take any responsibility or even be helpful….

AVOID!!!!

I recently hired Movevocity to move my vehicles from CA to TX. My transport specialist was Mike and he did a fantastic job coordinating my dates. My cars were picked up and delivered on time. The carrier used to transport my cars was very nice equipment and our driver Alex was professional. I will definitely use Movevocity again and highly reccomend there services. Thank you

No refund; no communication; blocked on social media and phone

I had a really similar experience to Katy (see below). They took my $1095.00, couldn't deliver within a reasonable amount of time and now refuse to respond to my request for a refund. Zero responses to my emails and they've even blocked me on Facebook when I left a negative review and tried to message them about my refund. This is no way to run a business. I've submitted a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and will contact my state attorney generals office tomorrow.

Give me my money back.

Beware complete FRAUD

We started out working with what we thought was a wonderful caring company. And in 18 days a nightmare began.

Our son’s car wasn’t able to be shipped out in the time frame we were promised but they kept telling us it would. On Aug 28th 2023 (18 days after payment was taken) we cancelled our request. At that point we were basically treated like we didn’t matter at all and told to wait for a cancellation email. The email did come that stated a refund could take 7-15 business days. I’ve seen MoveVocity rebute reviews by saying “cars or motorcycles that are in hard to reach areas might not be picked up in a timely manner but we offer you a refund option. We live right off of the Interstate 5 freeway. We then hired Transport Masters who picked up our son’s car in 2 days after calling them. We then called MoveVocity every Tuesday from Sept 20th (the latest date for refund) until Oct 11th 2023, Mark always answered and always told us false information. WE NEVER RECEIVED OUR REFUND of $1,395. When MoveVocity stopped accepting our calls about the refund and added a voice message that they only accept refund questions via email that is when we contacted the fraudulent claim Dept of our financial institution. On Dec 8th 2023 (almost 4 months to the day) we were finally awarded our refund from OUR financial institution and they will now have to do the fight with MoveVocity. Complete scam of a business. BEWARE

They don't have brokerage license and they owe me 1200$

This company is a scam... they don't pay carriers and they don't have insurance bonds, I already opened a claim against them in FMCSA. This means if you ship a Car with this brokerage company you will never see your car again and they are not a carrier they don't have any trucks they are just a broker. Now they are not even brokers their brokerage license has been revoked.

Moving

Hands down the best moving company I’ve ever used. I moved both me and my girlfriend’s house together into another state and even had a vehicle transport done. Competitive pricing and great service. I had checked a lot of places and by far this one was top notch in comparison to several competitors I’ve used in the past. Will definitely reccomend them in the future especially if you have a complicated moving job.

Great job!

My experience with MoveVocity was nothing short of exceptional. Communication was easy and clear, everything was done within the timeframe I needed it done by, and delivered with no complications. The driver was obviously a little overheated but he remained courteous and professional, and kept things as brief as possible so everyone could get out of the sun. This couldn't have been a more obvious choice!
